    Ironwood by KB in Portola Springs looks pretty hurt now…$35k haircut from listing..ouch

    Updated Irvine Closed Sales through January 2012 at http://www.irvinerealtorsite.com. – now “followable” and “likeable” 🙂

    Number of sales in January… a bit slower at 131 closings, (4.23/day).
    – January’s median price for Irvine back down to $510,000.
    – 39 were short sales (29.8% of total sales).
    – 24 were REO sales (18.3% of total sales).

    Closed lease info has been updated through January, as well.
    157 leases, prices back up, increasing to $1.67/sqft for the month.

    And for those of you keeping track at home…

    There were 1685 Orange County resales in January.
    484 were short sales (28.7%).
    298 were REOs (17.7%).

    Case-Shiller Graph has been updated with the most recent data, as well.
