Since we had to switch ins. plans, I can no longer see my absolutely wonderful Opthamologist as she is not under my husband’s ins. plan - Spectera. Does anyone have one they can recommend?

Also, I used to work for Allergan, so if anyone needs the name of a glaucoma specialist, let me know.

I took my son to Dr. Dery at the University Center right across from UCI.  He recommended a treatment I had never even heard of for my son.  And I am so glad he did.

Dr. Dery is an OD, a doctor of optometry, which means he does not have a medical degree.

There is a huge difference between ophthalmologists and optometrists. Having been in the eye care field, I’ve heard too many horror stories about patients being misdiagnosed by ODs because they are not medically trained.
