I’ll be there during the second half of the night. Better late than never.

Traceimage has given me an idea…

Let’s make this fun.

To promote participation and de-lurking, I would like to sponsor a friendly game. The first three people (regular bloggers or lurkers) who introduce themselves to me, and whom I’ve never met before in person, will win a free drink of their choice, on me, at the meet-up. Use this promo code: pass the koolaid

party_7.gif

Rules: Must be over 21. No cheating / head-starts / approaching me in the parking lot.

See you then.

Um, hi, you look very familiar, but we’ve never meet…

I will miss you all. San Diego Governmental Agency meeting tonight. You are lucky to have the opportunity to meet Socal. She is leaving her family at home tonight to do this so take advantage of the opportunity. May be the TIC marketeers would take advantage of this opportunity and set up a booth outside to unveil the New Home Collections too?

Thats right,  you don’t want to spread that 3CWGH1N1 fever.

The first three people that introduce themselves to me win the opportunity to do a Jager shot with me.  If three people don’t introduce themselves, I’ll just pick three randoms and drag them up to the bar with me.

Let me know if you need an alternate for those Jager shots.

No alternate status for you—- you have already proven (on more than one occasion IIRC) that you are worth of the starting line up on the Jager team.

You are on your own for the Jagerteam tonight T-man.  Work has trumped the IHB.  Late night tonight, in preparation for an early meeting tomorrow. In recent months I’ve become a victim of all those reports we keep seeing about “higher worker productivity”. *Sigh*

That is too bad we will miss you. I was hoping you and Grace could come. Maybe next time! Yes, unfortunately it’s hard to get a babysitter for a Monday night so I’ll be on my own.

Dan Young - if you’re reading this - come on down! cheese

Seriously, though. I thought some time it might be fun to invite a special guest that everyone knows…. example: Jim The Realtor since he’s from near-by San Diego. What do you all think—would that draw you shy people out of your shells?

So how will we know who you are? Will you be the one wearing the “Miss IHB” sash? wink

No, I’ll be the one carrying the wooden spoon… oh, and a name tag.

A tricked out name tag?

Better bring two spoons in case the first one breaks.

Socal should not give any hint. Let them introduce themselves to the wrong ladies until they get it right. By now with all your postings they should have a mental image of what you should look like. This should encourage more and brave interaction and not hiding in the corners.

My mental picture of Socal is that she has long, wavy blonde hair, with a little halo on top of her head, and she wears long, flowing white dresses. Am I close? smile

I think she has shoulder length blond hair, is tall, wears dresses out of Ann Taylor catalog. And she has blue eyes.

It’s funny because when I met her for the first time, she looked almost exactly as I had pictured her.

And tmare, I picture you as having blonde hair too, about shoulder-length, tall, with kind of a rocker-chick style.

Everything…BK even stopped by back from San Diego.  You keep missing these gatherings, you’ll make us start thinking that you don’t like us.

Thanks to those who came last night. It was nice seeing everybody.

Kuddos to Mojo for making it out! Hey, you all - he’s a really nice guy. I hope you can come again next time.

Traceimage - Did you go? I didn’t see you.

Those of us who stayed late got a special treat. Bkshopr stopped by late in the night, so that was awesome. Thanks for making the drive, Bk!

Hi, Cameray, Trojan, McDonna, and the long-lost Irvine Soul Brother! I didn’t get home until after 1:30 this morning.

I can’t believe nobody accepted the free drinks!!!
