The 2009 academic performance scores were released to the public today—- with scoring by school, district….plus all kinds of other fun stuff like demographics and scoring by sub group. Interested to hear all of your thoughts on the results of your favorite school.

Wow, my son’s elementary school had the 2nd biggest growth in IUSD and improved from 5th lowest in the district to around the middle of the pack. I get to start caring now that he is finally a kindergartener…

Doesn’t like the homework much but we have been punching out the whole week’s worth on Monday or by Tuesday at the latest. We’ve been doing extra baseball practices to get ready for the start of the season so it’s made for a couple of long and tiring weeks.
Rainbow Rising took some getting used to for him. There is a kid there that gets in trouble constantly and that perturbs my son a bit. He doesn’t like to play with him because the kid “doesn’t follow the rules” and “doesn’t listen to the teachers”.
