Should “Open House” sign lead you to a real estate office? When a seller’s agent wants to act as a buyer’s agent as well,  should they not disclose it first, before aggressively pushing only certain properties? Should anyone try to pre-qualify me for a loan at open house? So they know if I’m “financially viable” for the open house?

I wanted to see places that are in $300/sft - ~1800 sq. ft with 3 beds - want to spend in ~500K range, and I told realtor that. He made some snide remark about if I knew real estate market in Woodbury. Then I specifically asked for this place - 96-Vintage. Realtor wanted to show me 207-Great-Lawn. But you can see one property exactly fits my description, and it’s not the one he wanted to show me. If 96 Vintage is not available for viewing, at least tell me that before pushing something else.

Open house sign should lead me to a open house… not a real estate agent’s office, I think.

It was still in the market when I wanted to look at it.
