A physical door (instead of an open entry) to the bathroom allows one partner to wake early and the other one to sleep in.  With as ugly as he is, I think you can agree to allow him as much beauty sleep as possible.

For the record, IPO’s handywork has been impressive in all that I’ve seen.  What scared me is that I never heard from him that the upgrades were being considered, let alone condoned by the landlord.  I feared for a moment that this was all done w/o prior approval. 

Glad to see it’s working out.

That’s what I think you meant.

I will say this once and it should never be repeated outside of this thread… I envy IPO’s HGTV skills.
