This was on Perez Hilton as well as TMZ a month or so ago:
Lauren Conrad: $75,000 per episode
Heidi Montag: $65,000 per episode
Spencer Pratt: $65,000 per episode
Audrina Patridge: $35,000 per episode
Whitney Port: $20,000 per episode
Brody Jenner: $10,000 per episode
Lauren “Lo” Bosworth: $10,000 per episode
Stephanie Pratt: $8,000 per episode

How many episodes in a year - 20?  That’s some major bank!

I used to wonder how they could afford that lifestyle working as an “intern”.

Ahh yes, that’s what they call “Hollywood” reality.  How good of a show would it be if they lived in Santa Ana and worked at MacDonalds?  haha

Slade Smiley’s place was taken back by countrywide in Feb and it is STILL OCCUPIED.  It has still not been listed for sale yet.  8798.63 still owed in backtaxes and 84,028 in accrued interest.  The last payment made was in April of 2007!!!  What a scam!

That is so classic, the douche got what he deserved.  I wonder how being Jo’s manager is going?  haha

Wow Vicki has dropped a total of $100,000.00 in 173 days? That Jeana is one shrewd agent with a first rate pricing strategy.  She sure knows how to move real estate.

Oh man, that’s just too funny.  The OC Housewives calmity continues.  What’s next Lauri’s rich developer husband files for bankruptcy?  The biggest joke is that property is listed at $424/sqft…talk about WTF pricing.  Btw, what was her purchase price?  I’d love to see a short sale/REO on this property.

Countrywide sold it to a very nice family in about February or March.

Some areas of Coto are selling for more than $424 per sq. ft., but the 2 Altimira property is in the Meritage tract which is going for $300 per or less.

It gets better. Vicki has been building an even bigger monstrosity out in the sticks. The insurance business is not (I know) going gangbusters so she is paying two massive monthly mortgage nuts with little new income.  This nut will crack soon and I hope they show it this season.

Guys,

I saw some of video clips of the Real House Wives of Orange County on Youtube and Bravo TV.  Please tell me this is not the real deal lifestyle of Irvine.

If “Real Housewives” wasn’t it, what exactly were you dreaming of?

No, but the greed, and the keeping up with the Jonses is quite prevalent here.  Almost makes me want to hurl sometimes.

Not to worry, Panda. It’s highly exaggerated. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m late for my monthly Botox appointment.

I was hoping to see atleast one Korean or one Chinese Housewife. That is what would make this show “REAL”

More like “FAKE” Housewives of Orange County.

Maybe you should move here for a month and live in a Residence Inn or something first.

You seriously may not like it.

Well orange county may be a bit of an overstatement… maybe some of the beach communities.

But nowhere near what real people are like.  Goodluck

Bix, when you say nowhere near what real people are like… Please elaborate…

No_vaseline, so are you telling me that the real housewives of OC is for real???  I mean these women are seriously, outrageously, ridiculously high maintenance that Panda can’t even afford. No wonder why divorce rates are so high in OC. I feel sorry for the poor OC men married to these OC housewives.

Real people just like you or me.  The high maintence is usually only for the real fakers….  And they usually do it to themselves.
You see alot of them trying to look younger, be more extravently rich, stand out.  Ironically when my wife and I go out, we dress normally.  We stand out even more being ourselves…  LOL
good luck

Panda—- It’s a *TV* show.  I am sure that even these women (as horrible as they probably are) are not half as over the top in their real lives.  Drivel like this and most every reality show sensationalize the worst traits in people, so all the simpletons at home can watch and feel better about themselves.  Please place crapola like this in the proper perspective.  Don’t be so gullible to think this show (or any reality show from any city) is representative of the people you would encounter at Target or Costco or the park.

No, you have to go to Fashion Island or the shops at MV to find these people.  They don’t shop at Target or Costco.

And Panda, Asian/AA don’t live in their towns, sorry.

My wife works near Jamboree and El Camino.  I’ve taken her to lunch twice in the past two weeks and gotten the mad dog stares that scream “COMMONER!”.

I don’t think the divorce rates are that high here.  The men are just as fake as the women.

Yeah… it is totally real. Slade Smiley says he is rich, so it must be true, right? Or maybe not… since his house in Coto was foreclosed on.

The attitudes are totally real, even if the incomes and money are not.

Oh wait, I guess that makes it totally real.

The claws are already coming out.
I’m loving the tension/friction between Tamra and Gretchen.
