There’s an incredible deli in the Roseville area called Beach House (Hut) and nothing can touch it.  If anyone knows of that place and has a recommendation here, let me know.  Or good deli’s in general.

Once in a while I hit Jerry’s Famous Deli in Costa Mesa.
Their food is good and portions are generous.
Great atmosphere as well.

Claro’s is not a “mom and pop” store, it’s a chain in LA.  I used to shop at their La Habra location when I worked in Brea.  This location is near the intersection of Newport and Main in Tustin.  They have a lot of interesting stuff in stock, most go for their cold cuts and sandwiches.  I go there to gawk at the dried pasta collection and assorted goodies in jars and bottles.  They also make nice Italian sausages.  Ask for samples!

On side note, I found this “Frogs Breath Cheese Store” on Yelp today, have yet to visit but looks quite interesting.  Does anyone have any experience with this shop?

I am glad that someone mentioned Claros.  They have ready made deli sandwiches if you are in a hurry.  Their pepper salad is excellent and they offer samples of their cheeses, salamis etc…
It gets very busy around Xmas and Easter, so I try and get my italian supplies between thanksgiving and the first week of December for our xmas feast.
