Columbus Square is one of two villages that make up the development of Villages of Columbus.

Columbus Square consists of 8 neighborhoods (built by Lennar and William Lyon Homes).  Columbus Square is in the City of Tustin.  All of Columbus Square belongs in the Tustin Unified School District.

Theads for each neighborhood in Columbus Square are at:

  Astoria by William Lyon Homes
Cambridge Lane by William Lyon Homes
  Camden Place by Lennar
  Meriwether by Lennar
Mirabella by William Lyon Homes (Opening 2008)
  The Gables by Lennar
  Verandas by William Lyon Homes
>

Notes: The Cambridge Lane and Camden Place tracts contain some units designated for the Villages of Columbus Affordable Homeownership program

It’s Mirabella by Lyon. The sign says, “Coming Spring 2008,“ but nothing is happening there. Yet.

Mirabella is listed in the Columbus Square “Homebuyer Disclosure Statement”. My guess is that with the housing slowdown it was easier to pause a development that hasn’t started instead of deploying with less staff. Both construction and sales actives have slowed significantly in the last 12 months. Maybe after the government fixes the financial system next week and rates drop some more we’ll start to see more buyers and building.
