If I may add my 2 cents along with the financial gurus, I think Markman makes his living from writing and not investing.  If he made a living from investing, he would be poor.

awgee,

right on.  i hate when people tell me about some stock jim cramer touted.  honestly if he was so great at what he does, then why is he making millions as a television commentator when he could still be running a hedge fund and making tens and hundreds of millions.

one of my college buddies used to write for forbes.  then got an offer to become a JUNIOR research analyst at a bank and POOF he was outta there!

If you randomly pick buy/sell during his lightning round you pretty much end up with the same ROI. There used to be a website that kept track of that.
