Caveat emptor! Beware of the buyer!
Evil defaulters, they need to be kicked out so vultures can make a profit off others misery. You go IHB!
You are right Swiller. How about you pay for my mortgage so this never happens?! It would help me out alot.
“Evil defaulters (straw man), they need to be kicked out so vultures (ad hominem) can make a profit off others misery (correlation proves causation).”
Swiller, please take your inability to reason and go home.
Kudos bigmoneysalsa for recognition of logical fallacies
$420,000 for that? No way.
Second that!
I liked this blog better when we sneered at people’s WTF prices and weird decorating.
I will look for more WTF prices. They aren’t hard to find in Irvine….
Don’t forget the WEIRD decorating, that’s also pretty easy to find too.
It would be great to continue profiling not only WTF asking prices, but also genuine good deals; I think it would be interesting to many on this blog to see when prices start coming back down to reality from the bubble.
The Irvine Home Inventory chart does not appear to be updating. The last data shown is for 1/30/11
Thanks for letting me know - I’ll look into it.
This should be fixed now. I’ll check on it again tomorrow.
the calculator was broken the other day too
Looks like it is ok today. If it happens again, let us know and we’ll look into it.
After reading Aceves, I have only two words: thank and god.
Thank god that broke overleveraged shitbags are losing their homes instead of getting a free home.
Today the US 10 Year Treasury Bond closed at 3.54%. That’s the highest yield since May 13, 2010.
Lee, don’t worry. Planet Reality has already said rates will be back down at record lows. Oh, and don’t forget we are talking about Irvine…it’s different here and immune to the bad housing market.
Short sale? Why should the second agree to a profit lock-in (or keep the money from the second)?
Maybe I’m getting too old, but I just seeing the illogical rational and self interest over riding any common sense in America today. Those that see this either keep their mouth shut or get targeted.
A $400 downpayment on a 400K loan…WTFFF. I just paid more for a new set of tires for my GD car. I thought we would never see this madness again, but with the 3.5% down bullshit we will be in pain for quite some time.
